Kassadin E in opposite direction

I played kassadin on the new patch, 4.18, and whenever I ulted and E'd, it would go the opposite direction of my cursor. I just started playing him so I don't know if this has happened before. My cursor will be in front of me when I ult and E. There is not one moment it's behind me and it happens. Please fix this. It is very frustrating.
