Skarner's Passive doesn't give full gold amount

Short and simple, I've played a few champions while Skarner was a teammate and noticed that it says you get +8 gold when capping a node, but when i look at my total gold it only increased by +7 gold. This was made really obvious just recently when I played a Lux mid and spent all my gold at the beginning and quickly ran out to cap a Skarner node with my team and it said +8 gold, but when looking at my current gold it said i only had 7. Simple bug. Hope that 1 gold helps someone win a game or something.
