I was recalling but not recalling as Malzahar

keeping it short if I can.

I was Malzahar and my voidling was out without any enemy minions around. I hit recall, about halfway through recall enemy minions showed up so i hit E to put space aids on them and my voidling went to attack. I hit recall but it suddenly stopped so i thought i got hit or something I hit recall again and the recall bar showed up but not the recall animation so I hit recall again to see if it would restart my recall but nothing changed. When the recall bar was full and I should have teleported to base, well, it didnt work. I hit recall again and it was fine. But this happened.
