As a Thresh main, I find this issue a bit troubling. When playing as Thresh in game, if I hook (Q) Lux while she is ulting, even though I am not in range of the ult, I will still take damage. This has happened to me twice, both times has gotten me killed. Anyone else find this happening to them?

Final spark is a cast, not a channel, There's no way to cancel it if she already started casting it, regardless of what you do, same thing with Ezreal's ult.

Are other teammates being hit? The only thing I could think of would be spaghetti code where when thresh hooks somebody, they are force to face him, turning Final Spark towards you and basically becoming the sacrificial lamb.
This is a visual bug If you flash right before the HAAAAAAA you can hit the laser at the place you are facing after the flash. Since thresh hook makes her look in your direction, it is basicly being casted at you but the animation doesnt change
Lux ult should be canceled by it because she is channeling. this is he biggest glitch about it

Cast Death Sentence Lux cast Final Spark before Death Sentence connects Take damage from Final Spark, regardless of position

Woah woah woah If your hooking lux you are forsure in range of that ult LOL! Do you know how far her ult goes?! I lol'ed so hard when you said that. 2ed if she gets moved while ulting the lazer will move towards that direction say as you hook her you are moving her too you thus your getting a face full of ult. Its not a bug [slayer-jinx-catface]
