Game didnt launch after lobby?

just recently tried to play a normal draft game and everything was going smoothly up until champ select was finished. where normally the launcher client would minimize and the game would launch nothing happened. the launcher client stayed open saying "the game is still in progress" and nothing. didnt minimize, didnt launch the actual game. closed out of the client and tried to re log to see if that helped, nothing. restarted computer, re launched. nothing. after this point the game had already been remade and there was nothing i could do to get back into the game.
