I had been playing a game as Sion and then when I reached level 16 my Q and R just stopped allowing themselves to be pressed. I could use my W and E, it was just those 2 abilities. None of the other players had any idea and they had never seen it before. Is there a fix to this? Does it occur often? Should I play another champion for a bit? If you could answer any of those questions it would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

Exiting and reconnecting seems to help.

yeah, had the same problem few days back, thankfully my team was forgiving with me when I apologized for having to exit and reconnect, mainly because I was jungling and gave our Zed enough kills to carry for a bit. Did lose one of the dragon buffs though, which with the new changes is basically a GG all at once.

I'm just starting playing ranked games and this has happened to me twice both turned into losses.
Just got this one myself. Seems pretty rare, but is annoying as hell. Killing the game in Task Manager and then re-entering did fix it.
I sent this to Riot support, and they gave me a lot of facts about this.
The reason why Sion's Q & R stops working is because:
To disable this, try setting to Quick Cast and try your QR again. If it works again, sett it back to Normal cast and play as usual. Works for me before.
Actually, Riot is already working on a fix for this bug, and they replied that it is a very "stubborn" bug, and gonna be pretty hard to fix.
