Why is my ping so high when my internet works perfectly fast?

It happened since today morning. I tried rank games and the game just freezes and disconnects eventually. I lost my lp and I thought my internet was wrong.

I first tried to turn my mac off and on. Didn't work I reconnected wifi. Didn't work I contacted ISP. Had no problem, they said.

So I played again, with hope if the game works now. But it breaks again.

I seriously wan Riot to either fix this bug as soon as possible. I want my lp back as well. If can't, at least remove my afk penalty because it is 100% not my fault.

You're probably far away from a data networking centre. League has to go to a networking centre then to your isp then to you.

Closer you are to either less ping you obtain. If your next to a data centre then you should have next to none depending on where the server for league is for your state/province whatever.

Same issue here. My internet works perfectly fine, but in game I either lag (300 ping) or I DC the entire game

my ping was a steady 25 at the beginning of the season it's been slowly climbing ever since it's a steady 45 now

at the beginning of the season, google speed test (connecting to chicago, where the league servers are) said i had 50mbps down/5mbps up with 32 ping

now google speed test (still connecting to chicago) says i have 175mbps down and 10mbps up with 22 ping

it's definitely the league servers
