DC'ed during pick/ban, couldn't rejoin the game, but the game went on anyway

Pick/ban phase dc, auto returned to home page, could neither join the old game, nor any new game. Does not change even if I restarted client a couple of times. An hour later I'm able to start game again, it shows my game afk and I now lose LP and face 5 games of 10 mins penalty :(
