Kindred Wolf's Frenzy (W) bugs?

When using Death's Dance, Kindred doesn't gain life from Wolf's Frenzy (W skill) physical damage dealt. Tried it in practice, doesn't seem to gain life at all. Is wolf intended to be a seperate character? That's pretty unfortunate, since that might also prevent wolf's attacks from stacking Black Cleaver? Haven't tested.

Also, Wolf seems to freak out when W is used while attacking an enemy inhibitor? I'm pretty sure he can't do damage to anything if kindred is auto attacking an inhib, most of the time. He sort of flips out. Try it. This actually is even more frustrating, since W should be used to zone enemies and farm when taking this objective. This bug has been around for a very long time, it sort of feels like Kindred has been almost completely forgotten.... for many other balance reasons as well.
