Game connection

Me and my friend were both playing a ranked game at about 130 today and halfway through a game we both lost connection and ended up being able not to reconnect. When we would log out and log back in to try to reconnect it would fail input as to our main menu and the client and we are not able to create any games or anything like that . I still have access to my shop and stuff like that but I cant create a new game for QUeue up for another. And when I login again and even three hours later he tries to re-connect me to a game thats not happening and I still am able to the end of going to the main menu. If a riot employee comes across this please help because both me and my friend who lives in Arizona and Im in Texas are still having problems and we are experiencing the same thing. And I'm still able to get onto other accounts and play on those but not on this one
