Blackscreen after Champion Selection

So what happens is that after the champ select, when you load into the game, it stays black. Instead of the LOL cursor, it remains like the default windows buffering cursor. After around 20 seconds of black screen, if I alt+tab i get a message that tells me to check my internet connection while it completely functional.

This happened today in the morning, so no patches were involved in between. I dont recall any updates from yesterday to today on the pc (graph cards and other stuff of the same genre). I also do not recall any changes to the modem or internet configuration itself, at least the first time, afterwards I reset it about 5 times.

On top of that, I actually tried joining the aram which I obviously afk'd from my laptop. It also showed me the error. This led me to think that it MIGHT be my internet, but it is perfectly functional...

Does anyone have experience with this error? Can anyone help me out?
