i just downloaded the game on my mac my mac is updated to the latest version and the launcher to download the game wont open it shows up on my dock but just does not bring up the game file i have restarted my computer and everything
There is usually two ways of fixing this the first is the sit and wait method. If you look at your icon on the bar there will be a little tiny load bar and you just have to wait for it to load. It can take 30 minutes to 6 hours... Just gotta be patient. The second is redownload the .DMG off the download site, open it, right click the icon with out putting it in the application folder, in the drop down go to show package contents, navigate through contents/lol/rads/system then open a new finder folder then go to applications/league of legends, right click and go to show package contents, navigate the same way as before and replace the userkernel in the second one with the first.
There is a huge problem with this app and riot just won't fix it...
Add the mac to your firewall, it seemed to work for me. I also set my dns to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 Try it out.
