Client crashes, sometimes crashes discord along itself as well

Hello, I've recently started experiencing multiple crashes while playing the game. What usually happens is: I get a popup message that tells me that something went wrong and that something is not responding. I am prompted to click yes or no, no matter what I do within 5 seconds the game crashes. After that it tries to automatically relaunch and gets into a loop of crashing and launching, until I kill all processes related to the game and the client. I then relaunch the game and it usually works fine, however sometimes it keeps crashing. In a few occasion I've had my discord crashing along with the game. I believe one cause might be the fact that I am using multiple virtual desktops and am sometimes switching between them whilst in the champ select or while loading. Here is the file which was mentioned in one of the crash messages. I hope you could help me resolve this issue.
