Unable to connect to the game once it starts

I get into champ select and once it's done I get into the loading screen of the game. But once everyone gets at 100% I connect after 1 minute or I don't even connect at all. Also, my laptop's fps dropped dramatically ON LEAGUE ONLY while on other games it runs them with the fps it used to. Help?
