HELP NEEDED: Can't Type in Chatbox during Champions Select

Ok so guys whenever I go into Champions Select, that League Chat window pops up & there's no way to close that. If I close that League Chat, the client restarts & it opens again. I can't also type in the chat box of Champions Select to call my lane, whenever I type and enter nothing happens, I can't see also what others are typing. literally can't. Help would be grateful.
