Rengar's EMP Bola is on Cooldown.. WTF

Soooo whenever i leap with 3 ferocity stacks and throw non-empowered bola and hit q right after, i'm at 5 ferocity stacks... EMPOWERED BOLA IS ON COOLDOWN WITH ORIGINAL BOLA. Please fix this. Is this happening to any of you? Ever since they nerfed the animation timing on his bola (several patches ago), i've been getting this glitch.
