Rek'Sais Ult will not proc Passive "Awakened Dragon" of the item "Spear of Shojin"

I was playing with the thought that as Rek'sais Ult sometimes doesnt always kill off champs (as sometimes they r too tanky or because of "miscalculation") or is used early on in a fight against certain opponents to evade CCs etc. to try out Spear of Shojin on Reksai in the practice tool to get that buff to finish off those opponents after her ult. I was thinking it would especially be useful against Jax for example to avoid his stun and then finish him off with Reksais empowered auto attacks.

Unfortunately there was no trying out as the passive did never proc on Reksais Ult. As she is no shape shifter I doubt that this is intended?
