[CLIENT] Can't login unless I have League website open

I cant login to my League account in the Client unless I have the league of legends website open while logging in. It will say "Connection Failure: Unable to connect to PVP server. Information regarding what may have caused this error can be found here. Service availability can be viewed on the League of Legends Server Status web page." Also, the website needs to be open before I launch the client or else it still wont work.
