Muffled Sounds - All champions, Summoner's Rift

The past few games Ive noticed certain sounds are muffled in game. The announcer, background music and most pings are normal, however the basic ping, ability sound effects, deaths and other random sounds are absent.

Incredibly irritating, because its hard to place the source of the sound. Adding to that, it makes you unsure your abilities are working, and makes you unaware of whats coming for you.

Ive used multiple different champs, restarted league, still here. wut do?

Anybody else experience this?
