In an aram game; at first, two attempts to use it against veigar's aoe stun. The shield proc'd and gave me mana for successful use, but I was still stunned. Stopped using it for that, blocked a nidalee and tf's ranged abilities as normal. Late in the game though, the shield once again only gave me mana back while I took full damage from their abilities.
404 Terror1 votesI've had this same issue. (Side note: it's quite annoying that Fiora can block all incoming abilities/effects with her parry, yet Sivir's spellshield doesn't even work half the time.)
DorkunedAuras1 votesI believe it's a bugged interaction with Veigar's stun field. Veigar's W is set up to give assists even if no one gets stunned, if the person is trapped inside, you might be spell shielding that, instead of the actual stun.
