When Riots buggy client costs you your promotion to Diamond,

So I was just in a game going 2-2 in promotion to Diamond and the Client freezes after I ban a champion until it gets to my turn to pick and the timer runs out, THEN I get the crappy old "Unknown error" after getting kicked back into lobby with a 5 minute ques wait popped onto my account. Now I would be more than happy to dodge some games in ques that I know I wont win because of adolescent teenagers on summer vacation who think this is where they should dock their high-school drama, I've taken my fair share of time in the penalty box for dodging, and hell I've failed tuns of promos and I'm sure I'll do it again and it doesnt hurt my feelings one little bit but NEVER have I dodged a Series Que NO MATTER WHAT and I'm and while there was no real guarantee that I would be successful in the completion of my series I do not feel like it was in any way fair that it was determined by a stupid glitch REALLY salty about this error that dodges MY series for me.
