Game doesn't open on mac when placed in applications folder (MAC)

When installing the game, it asks you to put the game into the applications folder. However, when you do so and try to open the game it does the animation that it is opening but nothing happens. If during the install you put it into the desktop and open it that way the game works and the client opens.
