Gangplank's Q does not proc luden echo

Ok riot, so I've been playing some ap Gangplank but ive noticed that item 3285 does not proc when I used his Q, Parrrley. Is this a bug or was this intentional? If its a bug, please fix.

GP's Parrrley is considered an extension of his basic attacks, therefore does not proc Luden's because it is not considred a Spell and does not deal Magic damage.
