CHAMP SELECT BUG

I que'd up for rank just like i had done two hours prior and i banned and then tabbed out, when i tabbed back in to pick my champ itd let me pick a champion but i couldn't lock in, i was then booted from the lobby as i spam clicked the lockin icon with no eval. I waited 5 min thinking it was just a bug and qued again, this time it wouldnt let me lock in my ban and i was thrown out of the lobby and recieved a 30 minute que. i have been scowering the forum to find a solution and can not. What should i do? why cant i just have the old client back, it never did this. SOMEONE HELP
