Constant Bugsplat Coming From Friends

Today I have been trying to play with two friends and they both have had the same issue. My first friend had a bugsplat as we loaded into a normal game into Summoner's Rift. Each time he tried to rejoin, it would bugsplat regardless of reseting the computer, shutting down the client and re-running, etc. I figured my team could just remake, however it registered my friend as having joined the game despite him being disconnected and his computer turned off at the beginning.

Recently, I had another friend who wanted to hop into a custom game with me to warmup (we play in a club and were going to play a team soon). However, he also had a bugsplat. It worries me because it has not happened to me and I am not sure if playing with these guys is causing them to bugsplat and it is through me somehow or if it is just coincidence that both my friends have bugsplatted.

EDIT: The two friends are also on Macs while other people I know have no issues on Pc's
