[Client] Mac "Trying to Reconnect" Bug

Trying to connect with the mac client and 9/10 I will immediately get a "trying to reconnect" message. This is after Riot Client sign in page. Every once in a while it will let me in but after a few games I will inevitably get the message trying to reconnect again. This makes it so I cannot play the game most days that I try to.

There are other posts online about how to work around this but all the current explanations are out of date and no longer work.
