so when i start my game i try to level up my abilites or whatever its called and it doesn't work so i have to leave the game and when i come back it stars working

How are you trying to level them? Quick level (ctrl+ability hotkey) or clicking the plus rank up button?

Yea sometimes when I level up and quickly try to rank a spell while doing something, it doesn't take
