Champion Select Freezing/Crashing [CLIENT]

I have noticed that since the new client was released unto the live servers, the old client tends to crash far more often than it used to (which was a very rare occurrence). For me, this typically happens after a pick or ban is made: the client just freezes up and you cant pick, ban, or do anything else which means that you automatically dodge and take the full loss of lp if it has happened more than once, which for me has happened a few times already and is quite annoying. Just posting this so perhaps a rioter can come by and read this and perhaps fix this miserable bug? Hopefully the other menace too; the one where champ select becomes all black in some parts and you sometimes cant see what people are picking or banning or your rune page or masteries, or even summoner spells.

I find that the easiest way to recreate this bug is to spam the ban or lock in button on a champion when your turn comes around.
