Default Ward Skin Bug

When I try to select the default ward skin during champ select, it'll show that it's loading for a while then go back to the previous ward skin icon that was selected.

I'm having this problem for quite some patches already and issued a ticket for it and nothing helped; anyone else experiencing the same thing? Also, can anyone from the Riot Team please look into it? It's far from being a priority right now and it's just something minor, but it has been bugging me for a while and I'm looking for a fix :/
