League making me download the same patch 5gb patch again

I downloaded a 5gb patch and league was working fine then after i closed it and reopened it league wanted to update the client again then download the same patch. I'm trying to fix it and I've already tried to use the hextech Repair Tool to force repatch but its not working. Help is greatly appreciated.
