Game Freezes between 5 to 10 min of each game

It is very strange as it has occurred in 4 different games. All between 5 - 10 min. After the initial freeze the client runs fine. The time it started to occurs was after this patch. Due to the time that this occurs, I am not sure if the game does through some transition period and call some other object between that time. I am going to try to repair the client and then if it fails again I am going to reinstall. I currently have a AMD FX - 9590 FM2+ processor and have it throttle at 3.01 GHz. Not sure if that may be helpful, but figure it wouldn't hurt for you to know. There was an update to my OS going to see if that will help as well.

Thank you for taking the time to look into this issue. If you could be so kind and let me know if it is a bug or my system. I would be most grateful

Same here. FPS don't drop during game, but between 5-10 mins of game screen freezes and i have to reconnect, while after one reconnect game and client works fine till the end. I think it only happens in matchmade games, i don't experience any freezes in custom games or practice tool. I have already reinstalled and repaired game, but it seems it didn't work, so i was looking for solution and i found ,,log reader" from riot. It checked my recent logs from games when my screen froze and it told me that i have less than 1GB RAM, while i got like 4 GB. I am wondering if that is game problem or my computer problem. But when i read some reports on board, it seems like my problem sounds familiar...

Same here. Only things that changes:

  • LoL Patch:
  • Windows Update 10.0.17134

Can still here the sound, but screen freezes. Game restart required. "Task Manager" can't display above the freezed screen, so windows sign-out or restart required.

After restart the game there are no more freezes. Just this one - in every single match!

It feels like the fps was decreased after game restart (normally I've 90-110 fps after restart it was more like 50-80 fps) <-- But I didn't checked that empirically ;)

Same thing is happening to me every game lol. Please Riot for the love of God tell us how to fix this problem. ALWAYS between the 5-10 minute mark, you have to leave game, come back in and then its PERFECTLY FINE for the rest of the game. Got me leaverbuster after the 5th time it happened.

Same problem. It happens every game, typically between 5 and 10 minutes, but I had a couple of games freeze before 5 min. I have to keep open resource monitor, force end the process the moment it freezes, then click reconnect in the league client and reload into game. Takes a couple of minutes, always enough time for me to be a level or two behind and to lose half my tower. It's jacking me over in lane so badly. Please, any luck finding an answer yet? I just notice this start happening a couple of days ago, so perhaps there is something in the most recent patch.

Something interesting I did notice was that even when I placed myself at my turret and force quit the game while it was running normally, closing it the same way I would if the game had frozen, I reconnected and played for another minute or two, then the game still froze, at the 6th or 7th minute. I don't pretend to know much how the servers are working, but is there some sort of message getting sent to my system from Riot servers that can break the game at a certain timeframe? Nothing that important seems to happen within a league game at 5-10 min either, so I'm baffled.
