Rift Herald bug in live client, on practice tool (Crash)

I was playing Riven and I took Rift Herald. Afterwards the HUD changed to where I could see only the characters, minions, field and such. I couldn't see abilities and I couldn't tell where my items were on. All of my abilities could be used, but i recalled during this. I could not bring up the shop at all. I pushed the game to end to see if it would let me out. I ended up having to close both client and game with task manager. Any help on this would be great. I am not sure how to upload or even find game logs for this.
