Kindred Passive Bug?

In a recent game, I played as Kindred. However, when my passive marked the scuttle crab, it would not add a stack (I did not have 6 stacks already). Has this been addressed already?

Well first off which Scuttle was it? And secondly you need to kill it, or assist in its kill, to get the stack from it. Make sure your killing the right one.
