black screen after champions select ( MAC)

this is how my screen looks like.. after champion selected!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1. restart router, change to a different DNS server (to 8.8.8.8 if you're not on it, or google a different one if you are)
2. reinstall league entirely - delete it all and redownload it, after they fix the patching issue
3. try in a custom and tell us if it works
4. also monitor processor usage - is it using any of your processor? if so, it's at least doing something.

When the screen turns black, keep pressing space bar+enter+delete. Sounds strange, but worked for me. I couldn't tell you why it works, I just found it on another user's post. This is not a silly attempt to harm your program in anyway. I'm going to leave this message on all similar forum posts to help out as many people as possible. I hope it works for you as well. i had the same problem today.

do this while screen is black: press spacebar+enter+delete.

i spammed it and it worked. idk why but i saw it in another post.
