League Crashes in Promos During Turn Around

So I'm duo'ing in promos and for me and duo partner league lags like no other, but without ping spike, but when I closed to restart league the client showed I wasn't in game and wouldn't let me back in until I kept closing client and re-logging. It worked after a bit but we lost with two people not being able to do anything, and one of us not even being able to get back in until it was too late. So is this just a loss now on league behalf or what?
