[Gameplay] Can't Use Hotkeys on Trist

I was playing a normal 5v5 PvP game, and I picked Tristana. When the game started I tried to ward (4), but the indicator didn't appear and i couldn't place the ward. I actually clicked the ward icon and it worked fine. When I went to use my E, nothing appeared, and that went for all my abilities and items. I could type "qwer123456" in the chat, so i know the keyboard is fine. I turned smart cast on and off, trying to test that. I hit "restore default" in the options and nothing worked. I could click on the abilities Icon, and they would cast fine, but the hotkeys didn't work. Any one else get this issue? I have only played one game, so it have been a freak fluke, but I feel it needs to be known anyway. Thank you for any advice/ confirmation of this bug.
