CLIENT - Both teams - Ranked ruined

Started a game around 00:00 UK, ranked.

From the moment the game began, both teams where complaining about spiky ping, on checking mine at various moments of the game, it was going as high as 561.

Now, this was affecting both teams, apparently, but it got to the point, around the 20minute mark (can see in match history) where my whole team weren't able to do a thing. I was taking 6 seconds for my character to move, he never walked, just slid.

We eventually lost the game due to the enemy team being able to either play through the spike better than us, or just not being as affected, either way, this has ruined 45mins of my time and a 20 point LP deduction.

Now, you guys have access to the relevant information to fix this, because I am extremely unhappy at losing LP for a client issue. Link shows you should have all info - https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/201751814-What-data-does-Riot-Games-collect-

You will be able to see the latency for all players in the game, and I'm sure in the result of fairness, a better solution can come out of this than 5 people who no fault of their own lost LP.

This exact same issue happened to me in the last ranked game I played. My connection was fine, then then out of nowhere I disconnected from the game. Upon reconnecting, my ping was around a constant 2k, so I tried reconnecting again. This time, the ping ranged anywhere from my normal 65-70, up to over 8k ping. I was also having issues with my character model moving as well, just like OP describes in their post. Along with my issues, the Zed on my team was also having problems disconnecting, and claimed to have seen a lag spike up to 12k ping. Since it was not just me having the issues in my game, I am lead to believe that the issue was not on my end. As much as I enjoy playing League of Legends, the frustration of losing LP because of something I have zero control over is enough to possibly make me consider stop playing for good. This issue has been happening to me since the release of patch 5.8, and I would either like to see ANY kind of announcement saying you are looking into the problem, or to give loss forgiveness to all the summoners affected by this issue.
