I was beginning to play league of legends and my mouse cursor was not present. I instead have my regular windows mouse cursor, and also I cannot type into the chat at all in game. Another thing to note is if you ping for something there also is a bug that is very annoying. I cannot describe it unless you all see it visually.
I just had the same bug this game, reloaded my league client mid game and the bug was still present. Didn't even go away when I played a custom game. Anyone got a fix for this?
Edit: Seems to work when you run in admin.

I've had the same thing happen for me twice now both in ranked placement games which I've now lost. Rito please fix.
Bug is rly annoying, it cost me 2x AFK penalty because you can't chat and explain that you have a bug..., you can't ping properly. I noticed at first it is happening when you are in loading screen, and you ALT+TAB, then it changes from riot cursor to windows one. Then I tried not to ALT+TAB, It stll happened. Then I've set the screen to borderless and windowed, but the bug was still there. About chat, when you press ENTER to chat, nothing happens, and when you press G to smartping, you see a straight thin line which you need to rotate like a clock to get to the ping you want. Someitmes if you reconnect it fixes, well... if you reconnect because i think it has to do sth with CLIENT, so nothing WE can do about it, the problem is not with us maybe. [sg-lux-2]
I found a solution If you run the app as administor the problem will be solved If your mouse was normal in the loading for game after champ select screen that means you are going to face this problem and the paifull part is that you cant close the game once it happens So if this hapened alt tab out and close the app then run it as an administor

I had the same bug, I just had to disconnect and come reconnect. Sometimes it took off the bug but sometimes not so it's a pretty annoying bug
Same bug here! I have tried Alt-Tab ing and that hasn't worked, I've gone in and messed with my mouse settings, uninstalled and reinstalled, (Windows+D), closed and reopened while the game was still in progress and still nothing!! It worked somehow one game but then cut out halfway through! I feel so sorry for the people I played with because i couldn't even type and tell them what was going on! I tried going into the main settings and trying a repair but it says repair failed and doesn't help anything. Pleeeeaaase help!! I need to slay!!
This needs fixing It just took me 20 minutes to enter into a ranked game I was in and we lost because of it. This is not fair to me or my team to Lose LP over bugs with the client. This has been going on for 2 years now and it still has not been addressed.
I'm having the same problem. Sometimes the cursor uploads, and sometimes it doesn't, and I keep getting penalties. Hope there is a way to fix this.
Same bug just happened to me, honestly scared to play normals now...thank god it happened in a bot game..hopefully it won't bust me for this..

This happened to me too, im starting to think that this is something related to the new patch. I've gotten this bug all day and it gave me a leaver buster which is totally unfair.
Same, im in a game right now and were going to lose because of it!! Worst thing about is is that I can't even type in chat so my team thinks Im actually throwing and are probably going to report me! This really needs to be fixed.

I have just had the same problem. I aslo have video recorded if any admin wants to have a look at it. I sorrted it out running league in admin.
i have the same problem right now today it costed me 3 penalties and I NEED A WAY TO FIX IT RIOT SO PLEASE DO SOMETHING accs name EYE0OF0TWILIGHT server eu east its so annoying and idk what to do about it will i lose my banns ? cause this is just a stupid bug ? cause i take those penalties seriously and i want to be clear of them p.s my pealty just got 10 minutes first time it was 5 then it got reseted at the last match with the penalty and now 5 with 10 min

This happened to me today for the 2nd day in a row. I feel like the whole game freezes. The first time this happened 2 days ago I thought my "c" and "v" keys were stuck because every time I tried to type in chat it would spell out "ccvvvcvcvcvcv" infinitely until I escaped the chat box. Teammates were very frustrated and I was also unable to control the camera. Every time I tried to left click anything I would automatically ping and smart ping if I held it. I tried to restart client which did not work. I had to sign out completely from my computer and sign in again for this to be rectified but by that time the game was over. Today the same thing happened after a brawl and the keyboard became completely unresponsive. I couldn't alt tab and if I tried to right click I would get my homescreen drop down menu pop up which would automatically minimize the lol screen. I couldn't move the camera again without the mouse. So pressing "y" or the space bar did nothing. I had to again sign out of my computer and sign in completely which fixed the problem again. It seems that is the only way to fix the bug at the moment.

Same here. Had the issue for the past 2 days. Really annoying. Had 2 games that were normal after re-installing the client and then the same thing happened again.
