(Mac Client) Mouse and Keyboard HUGE issue!

Ever since the patch Bard was released (5.4, I believe?) There has been a huge issue where the mouse and keyboard (mainly ESC) would cease to function. Right-clicking stops working and champs are unable to either move from their position or attack. Mouse is still able to move around the screen, but clicking doesn't seem to work anymore. In-game, when the bug first appeared, right clicking turned the cursor into an Auto-Attack with range indicators almost similar to SHIFT+A (Attack-Move click, without the move). After removing the hot key for SHIFT+A (hopefully removing the possibility of using SHIFT+A entirely) the cursor would fail to react to anything instead; this includes clicking 'Continue' at the end of every defeat/victory screen. Would try to include a screenshot but screenshots don't seem to work either. Not sure how to recreate the bug besides just playing. Happens in any game mode. Game is usually fine for the first 20 minutes, but anywhere between 20-30 minutes is when the bug will occur. Also it doesn't matter which champion is played. Please help! This makes the game pretty much completely unplayable.

Note: Fairly sure problem is specific to the mac client; haven't found the same issue on Windows client.

Hey guess who, for the fourth time, is in low priority queue because of this? this guy I had to disconnect and reconnect, and when I came back and won. But you know, it's my fault the app is messed up, right? It doesn't happen most games, but when it does, its been getting longer. Please somebody at least say something about riots plan for this -_- Or maybe stop punishing me for something thats not in my control. Or both

same problem T_T getting reported as afk now T_T

On mine, I can open the shop with the clicks, though. It doesn't help anything because I can't click to buy anyways. Before, the shop used to also get stuck open, but i found out that ESC will work to close it. It just won't do anything else. #unhelpfulbutpresent

I have this same problem every few games or so. Although i also have something with my keyboard where it ps typing in chat, and its not the keyboard cause it doesnt happen with anything ele

4 years later, same bug. I also don't know the cause, but it sometimes happens when I tab out of League and back in. Using a MacBook Pro with Mojave. Keyboard seems to function as normal, since my team mates reply to my messages. Cursor moves, but does not react to clicks (neither Left nor Right). I also solved this problem by disconnecting and reconnecting like Milano TT, but got registered as "AFK" a few times because of this. Champion and Game Mode does not matter: experienced issue under various different circumstances. Reinstalling the game did not help.

Is there a thread that already solved this particular problem?

I AM HAVING THE SAME ISSUE! i can see everything going on in the game(usually im dying) and bam. I can't even alt tab, i have to power off my mac and turn it back on.

Yeah been getting the same issue since around 5.4, deleting 'input.ini' seems to temporarily work but I have to dc and reconnect to fix, sometimes happens multiple time in a game so its basically an instant loss. hopefully we get a more permanent solution soon...

Having the same problem here! Using a KBparadise v60 mini mechanical keyboard and Logitech 602 mouse and everything is still misclicking.

Out of curiosity, are you using the Apple keyboard and mouse, or are you using another brand?

I know several years ago my family's Mac had a bug where the mouse would move but the keyboard wouldn't work, even though the mouse was plugged into a USB slot on the keyboard. Had to unplug the keyboard and plug it back in to log in.

Anyone else still having this issue? I've tried playing with Logitech mice and I thought that was the issue - until I bought an Apple mouse and continued having the issue. My cursor is largely unresponsive and it makes me and my teammates incredibly frustrated, and makes the game totally unplayable. :(
