[CRASH] Whole computer freezes when opening League

After hitting play on the launcher and it boots up the client and starts loading the frontpage the client freezes my pc to the point where I have to force boot my computer with the power button. It does not happen happens about 90% percent of the time.

Steps to reproduce on my pc:

1. Boot up PC
2. Boot up League Launcher
3. Press Play
4. Watch it load the clients frontpage
5. Try not to cry

Rinse and repeat - I've no clue whats up.
