Camera won't lock if I press my assigned key

So, I have my camera lock button bound to my mb5, and when I press it normally it will lock my camera on my character so I can keep track of myself in a teamfight. Recently however, whenever I press the button to lock the camera, it won't lock. It isnt consistent and I have yet to be able to reproduce the bug, but it slightly affects my gameplay.

In order to fix it, I have to click the little eye icon above the map, the camera then doesn't change it's status (from unlocked to locked) however I am able to relock it with my MB5.

I have also noticed it is slightly more frequent on PBE (6-8 times per game) than on live (3 or 4)
