[GAMEPLAY] Nasus' Q can't be interrupted even from melee-range stuns?

During a top lane match against a Nasus while I was Renekton, I made calculated attacks with my Stun auto attack skill and, even without being effected by his slow cc skill, was hit before getting the stun off of my auto attack. My attack speed was greater and he was within range, the math checks out and I can't find any explanation online saying otherwise about Nasus' Q, so please check to see if that is a bug.

What's your ping?

e.g. let's say you have 50 ping. That's a 50ms, or 0.05 second delay between when you issue a command and when the server receives it. It's also a 0.05 second delay between when something happens on the server, and when you see it.

So, let's say you're being so calculated that you're attacking nasus just 0.07 seconds before he's about to use his stack. In actuality, he's using his stack 0.05 seconds earlier, so you're only reacting 0.02 seconds before. Further, the server doesn't get the message until 0.05 seconds later, so you're actually 0.03 seconds late.

Depending on your ping, this could definitely make a difference. There's no need to stun nasus so last minute. Just make sure it goes off before he gets his attack off, and his minions will steal the stack before he's out of the stun. I've had good experience denying stacks with quinn's e's knockback, which is probably the smallest hard CC in the game.

Stable ping changes nothing.

You just need to account for your ping in your actions.

I'd rather play at a steady 120 ping than at ping fluctuating between 20 and 100.

As long as your ping is steady, you can react accordingly. Most animations take sufficiently long that you can react on time that the ping won't make a difference. I'm simply saying that ping CAN be a reason why it would appear that you've done something on time but were actually too late.

nasus's q animation seems much faster than his normal aa imo, especially when using as aa reset.
