Skins dissapearing?

last year at the lunar revel i bought dragon blade riven, I played several games with it and then didnt play riven for the next few months. When I came back to the champion and wanted to play her it at first wouldnt select the skin and now the skin is gone. It doesnt even say I own it!!

has this happened to anyone else and is there someway to fix besides repurchasing the skin.

I've heard of this happening but only to people who used illegal means or botting the Refer-A-Friend program in order to get RP. People who were found guilty of this lost the skins that were purchased using that RP and even the gifts they gave out during that time we're revoked as well. Not sure if this applies to you, but that is what has been happening.
