Champion Select Freeze and Crash

Whenever I launch the league client everything seems fine, untill I join championselect. About 1 in 3 games my championselect just decides to crash or freeze and I wont be able to lock anything in. It's pretty fuckin' depressive to see your lp dropping and having to wait out the doge timer every so often. Is this a bug or is there something I can do to prevent this. The weird thing is that it randomly crashes. Somethimes everything goes well a few time in a row and other times it crashes a few times in a row. I'd like to hear what I can do to fix this.
