Multiple times now i will use Garen's ultimate and the animation goes off but if they flash or i lose vision (they walk into bush) my ult cancels and doesn't go off. I understand that if the animation goes off that the damage and ability is supposed to finish regardless of distance or vision changing.

Right now there seems to be a window where it can happen, and they purposely made the cast break due to line of sight changes in the past, but had changed it back. Typically speaking the only way to escape judgement is killing Garen or becoming untargetable or invulnerable at the right time.
For the vast majority of League's history if you walk into a bush as Garen ults you, and Garen doesn't have vision, the ult still kills you. Same goes for flash.

maybe they should just put half a second true sight on the ult and be done with it. its not very elegant of a workaround, but should get rid of that bug once and for all.
people being able to break the ult with flash, even when they dont flash out of vision has been happening rarely or a lot depending on the current patch.
in general its not supposed to happen anymore. probably same with darius, but they could fix that just the same way.
