League client freezing in champ select.

So, a few months ago, probably close to a half a year ago, me and a few other people were reporting a problem with the league client freezing during champion selection. The lobby loads in just fine, chat works, the counter will count down, but it'll eventually hit 0, but stays at 0, and no updates to champ select will happen. I can't pick, I can't ban, I can still chat though.

After a few moments, usually 1 minute or less, it will say that every player left the game in the chatbox, and I will "disconnect", however, it keeps me in the lobby, and if I wait long enough, will reconnect to the lobby, but it will instantly kick me out due to the lobby being closed since I couldn't pick, and it counted as a dodge.

I have tried reinstalling the game multiple times, however, this does not fix the bug at all. I've also noticed that if I close the game during the bug, it leaves a league of legends process running in task manager, and I can't open league until I end that task. I have also tested my internet connection, including packet loss and stability, and I have seen no issues whatsoever. If anyone can provide a fix for this, that'd be a lifesaver, as I can't really play league with of risk long bans/low priority queue.
