Kicked from game but internet connection still working fine

My duo partner and I both just got dc'ed from an in-progress game. I've attempted to reconnect, even after restarting my PC. It keeps telling me to check my network connection, but it's obviously fine since I can make this post.

What happens to this game? My partner was in promos :/

Attempting to reconnect doesn't even bring up the normal loading screen. It just goes black and then shows an error dialog with the message "Unable to connect to the server. Please check your network connection and attempt to reconnect to your game."

Also, I can't start a new game because this one is somehow still in progress.
