Vi Q and Poppy Ult (chargeable abilities) Causing Lag Spikes?

Ok guys, I've had this issue where when I cast abilities that charge up (Vi's Q and Poppy's Ult) my in game ping spikes to around 4k. I have no idea why this is happening, I just didn't know if anyone else is having a similar issue or if the Riot Support Team was aware of the issue. Just wanted to let my voice heard somewhere and i figured this was a good place to start thanks!
