Trying to record replays crashes my system.

Type of Bug: Replay/Spectate

Description: Critical Error, completely freezes my screen when I try to record using the in game recorder. Tried clicking the record button and ctrl v.

Video / Screenshot: Could not screenshot as my system completely froze. I have a picture of the critical error message, but it is not relevant as it is a generic message without a code.

Steps to reproduce: Open a replay and press record

Expected result: I will be able to record my replays

Observed result: Crashes game and system, Critical error

Reproduction rate: 10/10

System specs: Intel i5 Processor, Windows 10, Nvidia Graphics card GTX 960 2GB

I'm experiencing the same issue but only when the window is full screen. Try changing video to windowed or borderless, this works for me.

Hi I think I found a possible fix run in windowed mode and change vertical height while recording to 1080p form 1440 :) [sg-kiko]

I was just having this problem and could not find a solution anywhere online. I was able to finally resolve the problem by adjusting the vertical resolution for recording under the video settings. You will only see these settings when you are in the replay tool. Load your replay, press esc to access the menu, go to Video, scroll down a little bit to the capture/recording settings and make sure that your vertical resolution is set at or lower than your current video resolution settings for the game,which are at the top of the menu. Hope this helps someone
