The autofill system

So, i'm queuing normal draft with a friend and, on multiple occasions, i'm filled into bot lane while he's filled into jng. This is kinda strange, and really irritating, as i've picked top/jng as my roles whereas he's picked mid/top. For starts, can riot add some option too avoid autofill, even if it means longer queue times. I've dodged five times now, surely it would not have taken half an hour for me too get a game as a position i actually want too play. Secondly, why is my friend being put into jng while i've actually chosen the role as my second choice? P.S : not sure which board to put this on, so I've labelled it under bugs.
